Throughout my experience with UX Design, I have been able to create mockups and prototypes using Figma and Balsamiq.
I have learned the creative design process through BigTime Software and the Purdue University Polytechnic Institute Computer Graphics Tech Department.
BigTime Software - Report Center
Purdue - GoldBoard
Purdue GoldBoard is a hypothetical way to create a way to connect lecturers and students in a post quarantine hybrid world. With GoldBoard, lecturers and students would be able to access all of their brightspace accounts (Purdue University’s course assignment and learning tool), a video chat with their lecturer for scheduled classes, and a collaborative whiteboard. This would make it central location for Purdue lecturers to have their virtual classes instead of needing an alternate source for live video lectures.
This project did not receive any iterations and was for a 100 level class that was done within a short time frame.
BigTime hosted a Report Center that was very basic HTML and many clients found it troublesome. I was tasked with the mockup and prototyping of a new and improved Report Center including more customization on the Client side and making the Report Center as a whole easier to navigate.
GoldBoard - Student View
Within the student view, students can access their lecturers video, raise their hands to ask or answer a question, a live video chat, their other classes, and their assignments as they become available from their lecturers.
